Configure an ADP Integration for Pingboard
Updated this week

To configure an ADP integration for Pingboard, you'll need:

  • A trial or a compatible paid Pingboard account.

  • A paid ADP Workforce Now account.

  • Admin access to Pingboard.

  • Admin access to ADP.

Note: Making big changes to your data in Pingboard? Consider downloading an Everything Report before completing your setup. That report will serve as your account backup to revert to in case of any mapping accidents or surprises in your sync.

In Pingboard

  1. Turn on Sync Employees from ADP to Pingboard.

  2. Choose whether you'd like each sync with ADP to overwrite existing data in Pingboard or only add new data for new employees when they're first synced from ADP.

  3. Choose Automatically Invite New Employees if you'd like them to receive notice that they have access to Pingboard as soon as they're synced.

  4. If you'd like to exclude specific employees from syncing, select Manage Employees Sync to de-select them.

The initial import can take around 5 minutes, longer if you're syncing a large number of employees. If any unwanted employees or accounts appear in Pingboard after syncing, delete them from the Employees page to remove them and break the sync for those individuals.

Tip: Pingboard uses the Email field as our unique identifier, so if you see any duplicates created in Pingboard after syncing, remove any that don't include an email address or have an email address that doesn't match what's in ADP.
