With the Teams Integration, you can receive notifications about Applause, Calendar Status updates, and Celebrations directly in Teams. Note: This integration is only available on our Essential and Pro Plans.

Applause (Peer Recognition)

Any Applause that has been added in Pingboard will appear in the Teams Channel you designated about five minutes after it has been posted in Pingboard. Anyone who is in the Teams Channel that has been configured to receive Pingboard Applause will see a notification showing who has received Applause, the text in the Applause message, and who gave the Applause.

Calendar Statuses

Any Calendar Statuses that have been added in Pingboard will appear in the Teams Channel you designated at the beginning of your work day. Any Statuses that are added to Pingboard throughout the workday will appear about five minutes after they have been posted in Pingboard. Anyone who is in the Teams Channel that has been configured to receive Pingboard Status updates will see a notification that has a list of the day’s status and any status updates added throughout the day.

Celebration Summary

A daily summary of any employee birthdays, work anniversaries, company holidays, and new hires that have been added to Pingboard will appear in the Teams Channel you designated at the beginning of your work day. Anyone who is in the Teams Channel that has been configured to receive the Pingboard Celebration Summary will see a notification showing all the celebrations for that day.

Another feature of the Teams integration is the ability to start a conversation with someone in Teams directly from their profile in Pingboard.
