The permissions page shows what actions users can perform based on their assigned roles in each Workleap product. It also includes policy settings that let you choose how much autonomy Team Managers and Employees have over their team and personal settings.
Access the permissions page
To open the permissions page:
Log in to Workleap and open Settings.
Select Permissions from the left-hand menu.
Note: You must be an Administrator to access the permissions page.

Roles tab
The roles tab shows which actions each role has access to in every Workleap product.
From the roles tab, you can:
See what actions each role can do in each Workleap product.
Compare role permission to assign the right role to each user.
Note: Permissions are automatically linked to the user's assigned role. You cannot manually adjust permissions for individual users without changing their roles.
Manage user policies
Policies tab
Use the toggles in the policies tab to activate or deactivate the following user management policies:
Team Managers can invite new members - If active, Team Managers can invite new users to their teams.
Team Managers can modify their teams - If active, Team Managers can add existing users from the organization to their teams or move users between the teams they manage.
Allow members to edit their identification - If active, Employees can edit their first name, last name, preferred name, and how their name appears in the app.
Note: All authenticated users can view your policy selections.
