Workleap drafts every 1:1 agenda on a template. The Workleap agent picks one from the meeting itself, and you can switch to another at any time once the agenda exists.
Who can use it: the organizer of the 1:1, with the Meetings feature. Administrators manage the organization's templates.
Note: Meetings is available in the new Workleap experience only, and works differently from Officevibe 1-on-1s.
The templates
Each template carries the structure and the handling for one kind of managerial conversation. Workleap ships them; they work on day one.
Template | When the agent uses it |
Simple check-in (default) | A recurring 1:1 of 30 to 60 minutes. The backbone. |
Growth discussion | A periodic, protected conversation on development. |
Goal-setting and planning | The start of a cycle or quarter, forward-looking. |
Performance conversation | Tied to the review cycle, higher stakes, more room. |
Difficult conversation | Prompt, private, with specific examples and a follow-up plan. |
Skip-level | A listening-first conversation with someone who reports to one of your reports. Applied automatically when everyone invited is an indirect report. |
New hire | The first weeks: frequent, ramp- and clarity-focused. |
Each template also sets how far back the Workleap agent looks when it drafts: a Simple check-in reads from your last 1:1 with that person; a Growth, Performance or Goal-setting conversation reads over the whole period it covers.
Switch the template of an agenda
Pick another template, and the Workleap agent redrafts the agenda in that shape.
Open the 1:1. The line Generated using [template] at the top of the agenda names the current template. A freshly drafted 1:1 shows a suggestion until you pick one: your most-used templates first, then your organization's, then the starters.
Select the template name.
Choose another template.
The agent redrafts the agenda. Edits you made to the previous version are replaced.
The template can be changed while the 1:1 is to review or opened. On a completed 1:1, the template is shown but can't be changed.
Apply a template across a series or a team
Ask the Workleap agent to apply a template to every occurrence of a recurring 1:1, or to all your direct reports at once. The agent proposes the change in the conversation; you confirm once.
Open the agent from the 1:1.
Ask: "Use the growth discussion template for all my 1:1s with Madek" or "Apply the simple check-in to my whole team".
Review the proposal and confirm.
Create your own template
Build a template with your own instructions for the Workleap agent, kept alongside Workleap's and reused every time you pick it. Your administrator decides whether members can create their own.
Log in to Workleap and open Personal settings.
Under Agent, select Skills, then Prepare meeting agenda.
In Skill templates, select New template. Anything you add here is yours alone.
Name it and write the instructions the agent should follow. To start from a Workleap template, expand it and select Edit a copy.
Your template appears in the template picker on your 1:1s.
You can also ask the agent to create, update or delete one of your templates in the conversation: "Create a template for my monthly project review: blockers first, then decisions needed, then one development point."
Templates for your whole organization
Administrators can add templates for the organization, decide whether members create their own, and give the Workleap agent guidance that applies on top of every template. See How do I set meeting templates and instructions for my organization as an administrator?
