What do I see in a 1:1 my manager organizes, as an employee?

What an employee sees for a 1:1 their manager organizes: the meeting on Home, then the agenda and recap once the manager shares them.

A 1:1 your manager organizes appears in your calendar on Home, but its agenda and recap stay with your manager until they share them with you. Once shared, you get a notification and a read-only view of what they shared, always up to date.

Who this is for: Employees attending a 1:1 organized by their manager, in Workleap. For the 1:1s you organize yourself, see How do I prepare a 1:1 with the Workleap agent?

Note: Meetings is available in the new Workleap experience only, and works differently from Officevibe 1-on-1s.

See the meeting on Home

Your next meeting shows on Home, read from your connected calendar.

  1. Log in to Workleap and go to Home. The next meeting in the coming 7 days is listed, whatever its type.

  2. Select the 1:1 with your manager. Until your manager shares something, the only action is Open, which opens the event in your Outlook or Google calendar.

Read the agenda your manager shared

When your manager shares the agenda, you receive a notification and the 1:1 opens in Workleap with its Agenda & Notes.

  1. Open the 1:1 from the notification or from Home.

  2. Read the talking points under Agenda & Notes.

The view is read-only: you cannot add talking points or edit the agenda. Your manager's private notes and the Context panel are never shared. You are not notified when the agenda changes after sharing, but you always see the latest version when you open the meeting.

Read the recap your manager shared

Once the meeting is over and your manager shares the recap, the same meeting page shows the Recap section.

  1. Open the 1:1 from the notification or from Home.

  2. Read the recap. It is read-only; the transcript it was written from is never shared.

Your manager can share the agenda and the recap separately, or both at once. If nothing is shared, the Recap section shows as unavailable.

Your own meetings

For every meeting you organize yourself, including a 1:1 with your own manager, you get the organizer experience: the agenda drafted by the Workleap agent, private notes, action items and the recap. The experience is built for a manager's 1:1s, but it works the same for you. See How do I prepare a 1:1 with the Workleap agent?

Limitations and workarounds

  • Nothing is visible until your manager shares it. If you expect an agenda and see only Open, ask your manager to share it.

  • You cannot add talking points to a shared agenda. Send them to your manager, or ask them to add your points to the agenda.

  • No notification on later changes. Reopen the meeting before it starts to see the current agenda.

  • The collaborative experience, where you add your own talking points to a shared 1:1, is not available yet.
