Use 1-on-1s in Workleap Officevibe to prepare for meetings, keep conversations focused, and document important follow-ups.

What is a 1-on-1?

A 1-on-1 is a collaborative meeting agenda between an Employee and their Direct Manager.

  • Both participants can add talking points before or during the meeting.

  • The goal is to encourage open conversation, foster trust, and address challenges.

  • A 1-on-1 provides space for growth, feedback, and support.

Why use 1-on-1s?

Running structured 1-on-1s helps you:

  • Strengthen trust and communication between managers and employees.

  • Uncover blockers or challenges early.

  • Align on goals and expectations.

  • Keep a written record of follow-ups and decisions.

Who can use 1-on-1s?

Only a Direct Manager and their assigned Employees can access and create 1-on-1s.

  • Collaborators and Administrators cannot create or join 1-on-1s unless they are a Direct Manager.

  • Employees can only see 1-on-1s with their assigned Direct Manager.

How to access a 1-on-1

  1. Go to the 1-on-1 tab from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select the team member from the list.

  3. Click Start new meeting or open an existing one.

How to use the meeting agenda

Each 1-on-1 includes a shared agenda where both people can:

  • Add talking points before or during the meeting.

  • Use suggested topics to guide conversations.

  • Check off completed items.

  • Assign action items and follow up on next steps.

You can also review previous meeting notes to keep continuity between sessions.

Editing and deleting talking points

To edit or delete a talking point:

  • Hover over the point.

  • Click the More options (three dots) icon.

  • Select Edit or Delete.

Marking items as done

To mark a talking point as complete:

  • Click the checkbox next to the item.

  • Completed items stay visible for reference.

Archiving past meetings

Past meetings are automatically archived after a new one is started.

  • Archived meetings remain accessible under the Past meetings section.

  • You can revisit notes and follow-up items anytime.
