Benchmarking FAQ

Compensation

Is Benchmarking included in my Workleap Compensation subscription?

Benchmarking is an optional paid add-on in Workleap Compensation that provides access to trusted market data from Mercer.

The Benchmarking add-on lets you:

  • Compare your organization's compensation data to the Mercer benchmarking dataset of your choice.

  • Map Mercer benchmark jobs to your own jobs in Workleap.

  • Embed market data directly into your pay bands and compensation workflows.

  • Import of one external benchmark survey (e.g., Aon Radford or Pave) alongside Mercer data.

Tip: For more subscription info, see our pricing page.

What type of benchmarking data is available in Workleap Compensation?

Choose between two Mercer datasets:

  • Mercer Comptryx: Designed for global tech companies. Covers 130+ countries and 900+ companies. Updated quarterly.

  • Mercer SMB: Designed for US and Canada-based SMBs across broad industries. Covers 2,000+ companies. Updated annually.

Both datasets provide job-level benchmark data that helps create competitive pay structures.

Can you compare your compensation data to that of another specific organization or peer group?

No. Mercer Comptryx, and therefore Workleap Compensation, does not support creating custom peer groups. The data is aggregated and can only be filtered by Industry and Revenue categories. It does not provide company-specific compensation data or support benchmarking against selected competitors.
