Use this article to share public Good Vibes from Workleap Officevibe in Slack, either by posting each one the moment it’s sent, by sending a daily or weekly digest, or both.
Who can do this: Administrators. The Workleap app must be connected to your Slack workspace under Settings > Notifications > Slack. This is a separate connection from Slack provisioning or SSO. Nothing changes for Employees, Team Managers or Executives: sending a Good Vibe as Public is what triggers the post.
Note: This works with the Workleap Slack app only. If your organization still uses the Officevibe Slack app, connect the Workleap app first.
Invite the Workleap app to your channel
Good Vibes are only posted to Slack channels the Workleap app has joined. In Slack, open the channel and type /invite @Workleap. Workleap doesn’t join channels on its own; a channel without the app won’t receive anything.
Post each public Good Vibe as it’s sent
Posting each Good Vibe sends every public Good Vibe to one Slack channel the moment it’s sent.
Log in to Workleap and open Settings, then Notifications, then Slack.
Select the Officevibe tab.
Turn on Post each Good Vibe and search for your Slack channel.
Select Save, then Send a test post to see the message in your channel.
From now on, every public Good Vibe is posted to that channel the moment it’s sent. The page shows who last changed these settings and when.
Send a daily or weekly digest
The Good Vibes digest is a summary of the period’s public Good Vibes written by Workleap AI. It can go to the same channel as the posts or a different one.
On the same page, turn on Send a digest and choose a Digest channel.
Choose a Frequency: Daily covers the last 24 hours, Weekly covers the last 7 days. Set the Day and Time. The digest uses your organization’s time zone, shown under the fields.
Choose 1 to 3 Digest sections. They always appear in this order: Highlights, Values in action, Collaboration, Everyone recognized.
Optionally add Extra instructions (up to 500 characters), such as a tone or a topic to highlight.
Select Save, then Send a test digest. The test uses sample Good Vibes, not your organization’s.
If no public Good Vibes were sent during the period, nothing is posted and the page shows “Last digest skipped”. Deleted Good Vibes aren’t included. A digest that fails to send isn’t sent later.
Workleap AI insight: The digest is built only from the period’s public Good Vibes. Your extra instructions can set the tone or a theme, but they can’t rank or compare people or teams, add per-person counts, or change the language, the sections or the length.
What the Slack post contains
Each Good Vibe post names the sender, @-mentions every recipient, shows the card image, category and message, and has a View in Workleap button that opens the card. Editing a Good Vibe updates the post; deleting it or making it private removes the post. Senders see a hint under Visibility when they choose Public: the Good Vibe will also be posted in the channel. Private and Direct Good Vibes never leave Officevibe.
Important: Reactions and replies on the Slack post stay in Slack. They aren’t counted in Officevibe, and Officevibe reactions and replies don’t appear in Slack.
Fix a channel that stopped receiving Good Vibes
If the Slack channel was deleted or archived, or the Workleap app was removed from it, a warning appears next to the channel on the settings page. Pick another channel or re-invite the app; Good Vibes from the last 7 days are posted once the channel works again, and older ones are dropped. If Slack is disconnected from Workleap, a banner appears and nothing is posted until you reconnect; your settings are kept. Microsoft Teams isn’t supported yet.
