Agent preferences set how the Workleap Agent talks to you and what it remembers about you. They apply only to you, in every conversation, skill and feature where the agent writes for you.
Open your preferences
Go to Personal settings > Agent > Preferences (your avatar, top right). After a change, click Save changes. “Changes saved.” appears.
Voice & personality
Under Start from a preset, pick a preset. Then edit Instructions to make it yours.
Preset | How the agent talks |
Operator | Direct and outcome-first. Leads with the answer. |
Partner (Recommended) | Warm and plain-spoken. Stays close to your team's week. |
Coach | Asks before it answers. Helps you think it through. |
Custom | Your own instructions. |
When your instructions no longer match a preset, the selector shows Custom.
Memory
Type a note in Add to memory and press Enter, for example “I prefer short answers with bullet points.”
Edit or delete a note in Saved notes with its pencil or trash icon.
The agent also adds or updates notes when you state a preference in a conversation, without asking. It keeps preferences and personal details, not work content.
Privacy
Help improve Workleap AI is on by default. When it is on, Workleap can debug your conversations if you run into an issue. Workleap never uses your data to train AI models.
Good to know
A saved change applies from your next message.
Preferences don't change what the agent can see.
