Change User Email Addresses

You can update a user's email address in your Workleap account to reflect changes such as name updates, domain changes, or internal transfers.

Who can change a user’s email address

Only an Administrator can change user email addresses.

Before you begin

Changing a user’s email address does not affect their existing account data. The user will keep all of their:

  • Feedback.

  • Pulse Survey results.

  • 1-on-1 history.

  • Good Vibes.

  • Permissions and roles.

Workleap will also update their email address in other connected Workleap products.

How to change a user's email address

  1. Go to the Users section of the platform.

  2. Find the user whose email you want to change.

  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to their name.

  4. Select Edit email address.

  5. Enter the new email address.

  6. Click Save.

The user will now sign in using their new email address.

What happens after the email address is changed

After you change the email:

  • The user will receive a notification about the update.

  • Their account will automatically reflect the new email across the platform.

  • They should use the new email address to log in going forward.

If the user has issues accessing their account after the change, ask them to reset their password using the new email address.
