Use this article to send a Good Vibe in Workleap. A Good Vibe is a short recognition message with a card and a reason, sent to one or more colleagues. You can send one from the top bar on any page, choose whether it’s visible to the whole organization or only to the recipients and their managers, and read the ones you receive on your Home page.
Who this is for: Everyone. Any role can send and receive Good Vibes.
Before you start: Nothing. There’s no setup on your side.
Who can see a Good Vibe
The Audience you choose when you send decides who sees it:
Direct: only the recipients, their managers, and higher-ups in their reporting line can see it.
Public: everyone in your organization can see it in the Good Vibes feed.
Your own manager doesn’t see a Direct Good Vibe you send unless they also manage the recipient.
Send a Good Vibe
Select + in the top bar, then Send Good Vibes.
In To, search for the person you want to recognize and select them. To recognize several people at once, select Add another and repeat.
In Subject, pick the collection that fits what they did, such as Team Player. To pick a different one, select Change.
In Message, write what they did and why it mattered. You have up to 1,500 characters.
Under Audience, select Direct or Public.
Select the send button.
The recipients are notified right away.
Tip: Name the specific thing the person did and the effect it had. “You unblocked the API rollout by pairing with Afrah on Tuesday” lands better than “Great work.”
Read Good Vibes you received
New Good Vibes appear in the To read card on your Home page, with a count of unread ones. Select the card to open them.
The Public Good Vibes you received also appear in the Timeline of your profile, as Received Good Vibes from entries.
See a colleague’s Good Vibes on their profile
Select Org in the top bar, then find the person under People.
On their profile, look at the Timeline on the right.
Public Good Vibes they received appear in the timeline as Received Good Vibes from entries, alongside promotions and work anniversaries. Direct Good Vibes don’t appear here. You can’t send a Good Vibe from a profile; use + in the top bar.
React or reply to a Good Vibe
On any Good Vibe you can see, select an emoji under the message to react, or select Add a reply to write a comment. Hover over a reaction to see who reacted. Reactions and replies are visible to everyone who can see the Good Vibe.
Ask the Manager Agent to draft one
If you manage people, the agent can draft a Good Vibe for you. On Home, select the Draft Good Vibes for a report prompt, or ask the agent in your own words, for example Draft a Good Vibe for Afrah about the Beneva extract. Review the draft, then send it yourself from the Send Good Vibes modal.
Workleap AI insight: The agent writes from what it knows about the person’s recent work in Workleap. It never sends on your behalf.
Delete a Good Vibe
A Good Vibe can’t be edited after it’s sent. It can be deleted by:
the person who sent it
the recipient, if there’s only one recipient
an Executive
Open the Good Vibe, open its menu, then delete it.
Limitations
You can’t edit a Good Vibe after sending it. Delete it and send a new one.
A Good Vibe sent to several people is deleted for all of them at once.
Good Vibes can’t be scheduled.
