Understanding benchmarks, comparisons, and score variation
Engagement data becomes more meaningful when compared over time or against other teams. Workleap Officevibe helps you understand these trends through benchmarks, comparisons, and variation indicators.
Types of comparisons
You can compare scores in three ways:
Previous scores: Shows how your team’s scores have changed over time.
Team average: Compares your team’s scores to the overall average of all your teams.
Benchmark: Compares your scores with other organizations using Officevibe.
These comparisons are available for overall engagement and each of the 10 engagement drivers.
What is a benchmark?
A benchmark shows how your organization compares to a broader group of companies using Officevibe. It’s calculated using anonymized data from hundreds of thousands of users across multiple industries.
Benchmarking helps you:
Set realistic goals based on external trends.
Identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Understand how your employee experience compares to others.
Benchmarks are updated periodically to reflect current data trends.
Understanding score variation
Variation helps you spot significant changes in engagement scores, based on employee responses collected over time.
You may see:
An increase (↑) when your score improves compared to the previous period.
A decrease (↓) when your score drops.
A dash (—) when there’s no meaningful change or not enough data.
These indicators give you quick insight into how your team is doing over time.
