The Onboarding Survey helps you collect feedback from new hires during their first weeks at the company. It provides insights into their onboarding experience and helps you identify ways to improve it.
The survey is sent automatically based on each employee’s hire date.
How onboarding surveys work
The Onboarding Survey is triggered by the employee's hire date in your HRIS (Human Resources Information System). If you're not connected to an HRIS, you can manually enter the hire date during the employee import process.
New employees will receive the survey:
30 days after their hire date.
Only once, even if they join multiple teams or have multiple Direct Managers.
The survey collects feedback about the employee's first month, covering areas such as:
Clarity of their role and responsibilities.
Connection with their Direct Manager.
Access to tools and resources.
Overall onboarding experience.

FAQs
What happens if the hire date is updated?
If an employee’s hire date is changed:
The system checks if the 30-day mark has passed based on the new date.
If the 30-day period has not passed, the employee will still receive the survey.
If the updated date is more than 30 days ago, the survey will not be sent.
Can I resend the onboarding survey?
No, the Onboarding Survey is only sent once per employee.
What if we add a hire date after the 30-day mark?
If you add a hire date that is already more than 30 days in the past, the survey will not be triggered for that employee.
