See below to learn what each Workleap role can do in Workleap Performance.

Note: Users can have multiple Workleap roles at a time, and all users have Employee permissions.

Executive

Permissions

Executives can:

  • Create and manage review cycles and content.

  • Add and remove participants.

  • Assign Direct Managers.

  • Assign Peers.

Can view

  • Full cycle list.

  • Participants without a Direct Manager.

  • All participants' review answers (read-only).

    • Self, peer, and manager reviews.

  • Cycle progression reports.

  • Review completion status.

Collaborator

Permissions

Collaborators can:

  • Create and manage review cycles and content.

  • Add and remove participants.

  • Assign peers.

Note: Collaborators cannot assign DIrect Managers.

Can view

  • Full cycle list.

  • Participants without a Direct Manager.

  • All participants' review answers (read-only).

    • Self, peer, and manager.

  • Cycle progression reports.

  • Review completion status.

Direct Manager

Permissions

Direct Managers can:

  • Complete reviews on Employees they manage.

  • Share their manager's review with Employees they manage.

  • Complete their self-reviews.

  • Assign peers.

Can view

  • Cycles that include Employees they manage.

  • Review answers from Employees they manage (read-only).

  • Peer review answers about Employees they manage (read-only).

  • Their own review answers.

  • Cycle progression reports (cycles including them or Employees they manage).

  • Review completion status (reviews including them or Employees they manage).

Note: Direct Managers can view review submissions for their whole reporting line. That means a Direct Manager can view review submissions for all their Employees and all the Employees that their Employees supervise.

Employee

Permissions

Employees can:

  • Complete their self-reviews.

  • Complete peer reviews (if assigned as a peer reviewer).

Note: Employees can participate in peer and self-reviews even without an assigned Direct Manager.

Can view

  • Cycles that include them.

  • Their completed review submissions.

  • Their Direct Manager's manager reviews about them (read-only).

Note: Employees can only view their Direct Manager's review once it's shared with them.
