Direct Managers play a key role in employee growth. They are responsible for completing the performance reviews of the employees they manage.

What can Direct Managers do in a review cycle?
As a Direct Manager, you are automatically assigned to review your direct reports as part of a review cycle.
You can:
View the review cycle details.
Complete and submit manager reviews on your direct reports.
Share your manager review with the direct report(s) you reviewed (if enabled).
View peer reviews on your direct reports.
Access self-reviews completed by your direct reports.
View the summary of the review cycle.
Export your direct reports' reviews.
Access your reviews
To view your assigned reviews:
Go to the Review cycles section from the left-hand menu.
Select the active cycle assigned to you.
Open the review form for your direct reports or peers to fill out the review.
Submit and share a manager review
After finishing a direct report's manager review, select Submit review at the bottom of the form to mark the review as complete.
You can reopen the review and make changes until the review cycle is locked.
Your direct reports do not see your manager review unless you or an Executive/Collaborator shares it with them (optional).
Tip: We recommend discussing your manager's review with your direct report before sharing it with them.
Note: If your direct reports have peer reviews, they may be included in the shared review.
Peer answer visibility is determined by the settings chosen by Executives or Collaborators when the cycle was created.

Can you see reviews from others?
As a Direct Manager, you can view:
Self-reviews completed by your direct reports.
Peer reviews submitted to your direct reports if sharing is enabled.
Reviews from other managers about your direct reports, if your Admin has given access.
You cannot view:
Reviews submitted to employees who are not your direct reports.
