Why is Pingboard becoming part of the Workleap platform?
At the end of 2023, we welcomed Pingboard to the Workleap family to simplify and enhance the employee experience. By integrating Pingboard’s org chart and directory tools, we’re building a unified platform that helps teams connect, collaborate, and grow—all while fostering engagement and alignment.
What does this change mean for my subscription, pricing, and support relationship with the Pingboard/Workleap teams?
Your subscription, pricing, support, and relationship with the Workleap team won’t change. We’ll keep you informed of any major updates as integrations evolve.

When will the migration take place?
We will migrate customers in cohorts starting in April 2024. To ensure a smooth transition, we will share more details ahead of the migration.
How will I know when my migration is complete?
Once your account is migrated, administrators will be notified via email with all the necessary details.
What steps do I need to take to prepare for the migration?
Make sure your IT team whitelists the new URL (see below). Keep an eye out for more details, which we’ll share via email in the coming weeks.
Will the URL for the app change?
Yes, after the migration, you’ll be able to access the tool at https://pingboard.workleap.com/. Here's how your IT team can prepare:
Add the new URL to your email safe sender list.
Configure your firewall so that it doesn't block the new URL.
Update the links in your intranet and internal documentation.
Note that this last step is optional as the old URLs will redirect to the new website automatically, but we encourage you to update them when possible.
How will user management work in the new Workleap ecosystem?
You'll be able to manage all your employees and teams via a centralized settings page in the Workleap platform. Workleap settings configurations will apply to all your Workleap products:
Manage users and teams manually or via an Excel file.
Provision users and teams via a daily sync with your HRIS.
Will there be any service interruptions during the migration?
No. This change will not cause service interruptions. However, your IT team may need to take some action. Be sure to:
Whitelist the new URL: https://pingboard.workleap.com/
Reconnect active integrations in the new central settings page once migrated.
Will the migration affect existing user and team management integrations?
If you manage employees manually or via a bulk edit file, all settings will transfer automatically, and you can access them through the Workleap Settings page.
If you use one of the compatible HRIS integrations, you'll have to reconnect them via Workleap settings upon your first login.
If you're using SAML to authenticate users, you will need to adapt the new URL and configurations to the Identity providers.
If you're using a custom integration via an SFTP Server, we will ask you to transition to the Workleap API. We are still evaluating the impact and will provide more information in a future communication.
Can I integrate Pingboard with other Workleap products immediately?
Yes, as we combine our existing family of products and future products, the Workleap platform will be your one-stop shop for onboarding new hires, performance management, talent development, team alignment, employee engagement, achievement celebration, productivity tool management, and more. To learn more, book a demo!
Will it be possible to continue to use Pingboard without using other parts of Workleap?
Yes. You can continue using Pingboard without using other tools on the platform after migration. However, you could benefit from great bundle discounts by adding additional tools.
Will employees need to reset their passwords?
Yes. All employees will need to set a new password the first time they log into the platform. If you reconfigure your Single Sign-On integration, they’ll be able to connect automatically as usual.
Will we lose any data during the migration process?
No. Our team will ensure that all your data remains available throughout the migration.
How is data migration being handled securely?
Our team manages the migration internally, ensuring all data remains secure throughout the process. For additional details, visit our Trust Center.
