Add the Workleap AI app to Slack

Workleap AI

Updated this week

The Workleap AI Slack app brings the Workleap AI assistant straight to your Slack workspace.

Important: Learn about Workleap's privacy policy here.

How to use Workleap AI in Slack

  • Direct messages: Open a DM with the Workleap AI app to ask questions privately.

  • AI assistant panel: Click the Workleap AI icon in Slack's top toolbar to open a side panel.

Workleap AI responds when you message it directly or use the assistant panel. It does not respond to messages in channels.

What the Workleap AI app can access

Once connected, Workleap AI can use data and context from:

  • Workleap Officevibe.

  • Workleap Performance.

  • Connected tools like SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Notion, and Slack.

  • Files uploaded to Workleap AI.

Note: AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate. Always verify important details before taking action.

Setup

For Admins

  1. Select Access, then click Open next to Slack.

  2. Authorize Workleap AI to access your Slack workspace.

For users

Once your Admin enables Slack, find the Workleap AI app in your Slack sidebar under Apps.

Tip: To add Workleap AI to your Slack toolbar, go to Preferences > Navigation > App agents & assistants and enable Workleap AI.

Connect Slack as a knowledge source

Adding the Workleap AI app does not give it access to your Slack messages. To let Workleap AI search your Slack conversations, you need to manually connect Slack as a knowledge source.
