Once your Job Levels and Job Tracks are configured in Workleap Compensation, you must map each Job Title to the following:
Job Function
Job Level
Job Track
To get started, go to Configuration in the navigation menu and click the Job Mapping tab.
Caution: Any Job Titles that still need to be mapped will show a warning icon and appear highlighted in yellow.
Bulk job mapping
Step 1: Export the job mapping template
Click the Actions dropdown in the top right, then select Export Job Mappings. This will generate a spreadsheet pre-populated with synced HRIS data (e.g., Job Title, Department).
Step 2: Complete the mapping template
Open the downloaded file in your preferred spreadsheet editor. Fill in the following columns:
Job Function
Job Track
Job Level
When done, save the file as a CSV or Excel format.
Step 3: Import your completed file
Click Actions, then select Import Job Mappings. Drag and drop your file into the import window or select it manually.
Caution: If any required columns are not auto-mapped, you’ll be prompted to manually match them before proceeding.
Step 4: Review and validate your data
Use the built-in data editor to check the imported information.
Tip: Use the Rows with issues tab to view rows that contain errors. Click any error icon in a column heading to filter by specific issues.
Step 5: Finalize the import
Optional: Click Export at the bottom to save a version of the file with all issues highlighted.
When ready, click the blue Import button to complete the process.
Caution: Use the Clean rows tab to view all entries that are ready for import. Clean rows and non-error rows will be imported together.
