Compensation

Updated over 2 months ago

The Total Rewards portal in Workleap Compensation gives employees a clear, personalized view of their full compensation package—not just salary but equity, perks, and benefits.

This feature promotes transparency, boosts retention, and helps employees understand the full value of what the company provides.

Key features

Total Rewards portal

Each employee sees a private, branded portal that includes:

  • Base pay (salary or hourly rate)

  • Variable compensation, like commission and bonus targets

  • Equity compensation, such as stock options

  • Perks and benefits (e.g. health plans, learning budgets, etc.)

The experience is tailored to each employee based on synced HR and compensation data.

You can also include your company logo and a short explanation of your compensation philosophy at the top of the portal.

Equity scenarios

Employees can:

  • View each equity grant, including what’s vested and unvested

  • See what will vest in the next 12 months

  • Explore future-value projections based on company growth (e.g. in the case of an IPO or acquisition)

Pay transparency

Support compliance with evolving legislation by toggling visibility for:

  • Pay bands by job level, function, and location (zone)

  • Position-in-band

  • Compa-ratio and Range Penetration

These settings can help clarify how each employee’s pay fits into your internal compensation framework.

Perks and benefits

Break down the annual value of any additional offerings, such as:

  • Health and wellness plans

  • Company-paid perks

  • Professional development or learning budgets

Only relevant perks are shown to each employee.

FAQ section

You can optionally include a set of custom FAQs in the portal to help employees better understand their compensation.

Display options

To configure what employees see in the portal:

  1. Go to Configuration in the navigation menu
