Turnover report overview

Officevibe

Updated this week

The Turnover report in Workleap Officevibe connects departure dates with engagement data and feedback/comments to show who has left your organization, when, why, and how their engagement data compares to the rest of your organization.

This report helps Executives, HR leaders, and Team Managers understand:

  • Turnover patterns of recent departures.

  • Identify teams experiencing higher attrition.

  • Uncover signs of employee dissatisfaction that appear in Officevibe's engagement data.

  • Take proactive steps to improve retention.

How the turnover report works

Termination details can come from your HRIS, imported data, or manual entry.

To generate the Turnover report, we rely on two fields:

  • Termination date: The employee’s last day at the company.

  • Termination reason (optional): Adds context for analyzing turnover trends.

Using this data, the report:

  • Displays employees who have left within the last 90 days.

  • Pulls aggregate engagement scores and feedback from Officevibe.

  • Uses Workleap AI to highlight insights and identify patterns that may otherwise go unnoticed.

How to populate the Turnover report

You can populate the required fields using multiple methods.

  • HRIS provisioning integration

  • Provisioning API import

  • Bulk provisioning (CSV upload)

  • Manual entry via the UI

Steps to populate the departure data and reason

Option 1: HRIS provisioning

An Administrator or Administrator/Executive can populate data through HRIS provisioning:

  1. Go to Settings in the Workleap platform and select Provisioning.

  2. Click View settings or Connect next to your HRIS integration (e.g., BambooHR, HiBob, Personio, Workday).

  3. Click Turn on daily sync to activate the integration.

  4. Scroll down to Configure property mapping and expand the list.

  5. Enable the following fields:

    • Termination Date (standard field).

    • Termination Reason (optional custom field).

  6. If you're not syncing the Termination Reason field:

    • Create a custom field in your HRIS.

    • Map the field in the Configure property mapping section.

    • Sync it with Workleap manually or wait for the next automatic sync.

  7. Click Apply changes to sync both fields.

Once data is populated and includes terminations from the last 90 days, the Turnover report will unlock.

If HRIS provisioning was previously set up and then disabled, re-enabling it will unlock the report automatically if recent termination data is present.

Option 2: Provisioning API import

An Administrator or Executive can import termination data using the Provisioning API.

Option 3: Bulk provisioning (CSV upload)

  1. Log in to Workleap and open settings.

  2. Select Bulk provisioning from the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the Download file under step 1.

  4. Open the downloaded XLSX file in a spreadsheet editor such as Microsoft Excel.

Note: Only Administrators can access bulk provisioning. If you are not an Admin, bulk provisioning does not show in the side menu.

Option 4: Manual entry via the UI

Termination data can also be entered manually through the Workleap interface.
