Use the Workleap Agent in Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools (MCP)

Connect the Workleap Agent to your AI tool, and see exactly what it can read, write, and reach.

You can use the Workleap Agent (formerly Workleap AI) from inside Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools that support MCP connectors. Once connected, those tools can look up your Workleap data and complete a few tasks for you, such as drafting a review or booking a 1:1, using your own Workleap login and permissions.

Looking to connect another tool's MCP server to the Workleap Agent instead? See Connect a custom MCP server to the Workleap Agent.

How it works

  • In Claude or ChatGPT, you add the Workleap Agent as a connector and sign in with your Workleap account. No API keys are involved.

  • Claude or ChatGPT then reads the list of Workleap tools and picks what each question needs. You never name a tool.

  • The connector answers with what you can see in Workleap: same roles and permissions, per person, never shared.

What the agent can access

Area

Reads

Writes

Ask, for example

People and teams

Profiles, teams, managers, reporting lines

None

"Who's on my team?"

Recognition

Good Vibes sent and received

None

"What recognition did my team get this month?"

Engagement

Scores, the ten metrics, eNPS, participation, by team

None

"How did engagement move this quarter?"

Feedback

Feedback conversations you can already open in Officevibe, with the same anonymity rules

None

"What feedback did my team leave last month?"

Performance reviews

Cycles, reviews with answers, saved context

Draft answers, save context, share, submit

"Draft my answers for Sam's review from my notes."

Goals

Goals you can see, in full detail

Create, update, and publish goals

"Which goals on my team are behind?"

1:1s and meetings

1:1 agendas, and agendas for meetings you organize: talking points and notes

None

"What did Alex and I discuss last time?"

Calendar

Your next 1:1 with a colleague, and when colleagues are busy (your connected Outlook or Google calendar)

Create, change, or delete an event on your calendar

"Find 30 minutes with Alex next week and book it."

Important: The connector writes only where the table says so: reviews, goals, and your calendar. Each write is an action you could take yourself in Workleap, recorded under your name, only when you ask.

Controls for admins and IT

Where

Control

Workleap

Access to the Workleap Agent is granted per user by your admin (see Adding your team). The connector then uses that person's existing permissions.

Claude

Switch any tool off in the Search and tools menu, for example the feedback tool.

Other AI tools

Their own app and connector controls.

What it cannot reach

Third-party tools such as Slack or Jira. Your AI tool uses its own connectors for those. Workleap admin settings are not exposed either.

Setup

ChatGPT

Install the Workleap app from the ChatGPT app directory.

Claude, desktop or web

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors, click +, then Add custom connector.

  2. Name it Workleap Agent, paste https://api.ai.workleap.com/mcp, and click Add.

  3. Click Connect, then sign in with your Workleap credentials.

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings > Connectors. Each person then connects.

Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user workleap-agent https://api.ai.workleap.com/mcp, restart, then type /mcp and click Authenticate.

Any other MCP tool

Add https://api.ai.workleap.com/mcp as a remote HTTP MCP server. Sign-in happens automatically.

Important: That URL is a connector address, not a web page. Opening it in a browser returns "method not allowed".

Once connected, try "Who's on my team?" or "What's our engagement trend?"

Availability

Available today to anyone with Workleap access, and part of the new Workleap experience going forward. Talk to your account representative if you're on a legacy plan.
