Performance

Updated over a week ago

The Goals feature in Workleap Performance helps you set, track, and align objectives across your organization. Goals are designed to be flexible and easy to update, allowing you to keep progress visible and teams focused.

Creating a goal

You can create a goal from scratch or use AI suggestions to quickly get started.

  1. Go to the Goals section in Workleap Performance.

  2. Select Create goal.

  3. Choose one of the following:

    • Blank goal: Start with an empty form and define all details manually.

    • AI suggestion: Let AI generate a goal name, description, and measurement options based on your objective.

  4. Fill in the goal details:

    • Goal name and description.

    • Start date and end date.

    • Alignment: Link the goal to a parent goal or an existing OKR.

    • Owner: Assign a person responsible for the goal.

    • Contributors: Add individuals or teams who will help achieve the goal.

    • Goal type: Personal, team, or organizational.

    • Visibility: Choose whether the goal is visible to the whole organization or only to the owner and contributors.

  5. Define how you will measure progress:

    • Percentage completion (simple tracking).

    • Custom measurements suggested by AI (e.g., specific milestones or KPIs).

  6. Select Create goal to save it.

Updating goal progress

You can update a goal’s progress at any time.

  1. Open the goal detail page.

  2. Update progress manually by entering a percentage, or use predefined measurement fields for automatic tracking.

  3. Add a comment to describe the update (e.g., progress made, blockers, next steps).

  4. Select Save progress.

Each update is logged in the Progress history, so you can review changes and comments over time.

Viewing and filtering goals

Use filters to focus on specific goals or statuses:

  • Health: View goals that are on track, at risk, or off track.

  • Type: Filter by personal, team, or organizational goals.

  • Progress: Quickly see completion percentages.

You can also edit or delete goals at any time from their detail page.
