To connect an app, open Connected apps in your personal settings and sign in with your own account. The Workleap Agent can then use the app when you ask. It sees only what your account can open.

Your team’s work happens in Slack, Jira, calendars and documents, not only in Workleap. Connect those apps, and the agent can answer questions about that work. Ask “Where does the launch project stand?” and it answers from your Jira issues and Confluence pages. Your Workleap Brief reads them too, so it covers the work done outside Workleap.

Who can do this: Everyone connects their own apps. Administrators decide whether people can connect apps, and can add tools that aren’t in the list.

What happens when you ask

Example: A manager asks: “Catch me up on #launch, and reply in the thread that I’ll review the plan Friday.”

The agent reads #launch with the manager’s own Slack account.
It summarizes what the team decided.
It drafts the reply on a card. The manager clicks Send message to post it under their own name, or Discard.

Setup

Connect an app

Click your avatar (top right), then Personal settings > Agent > Connected apps.
Click the app to see What this unlocks and What the agent will read.
Click Connect [app], then sign in to the app and allow access.

The app shows Connected. The agent can use it from your next message.

Open your connected apps

Disconnect an app

Click your avatar, then Personal settings > Agent > Connected apps.
Click the app, then Disconnect.
Click Disconnect again to confirm.

The app shows Not connected, and Workleap deletes your stored sign-in.

Turn an app off for a while

To keep an app connected but stop the agent from using it, click + in the agent’s message box, then click the app. The app shows Off. The agent ignores the app for messages from this browser until you click the app again.

Administrators: allow personal app connections

If people see Personal integrations disabled on the Connected apps page, your organization doesn’t allow personal app connections. Click Manage permissions on that page to change this setting in Workleap Classic. Only administrators see this link.

Good to know

When does the agent read my apps?

Only when you ask, or when a routine runs for you, such as your Workleap Brief. Nothing is synced or indexed.

Can my administrator or my manager see what the agent reads?

No. Answers stay in your own conversations. Administrators can’t read your conversations or see which apps you connected. Your manager’s agent uses your manager’s connections, never yours. No report, profile or review about you reads your apps.

What can the agent change in my apps?

The agent asks before it sends a Slack message or changes your calendar. In other apps, it asks before actions the app marks as destructive, such as a delete. HubSpot, Intercom, Mixpanel and Zoom are read-only.

Is my content used to train AI models?

No. Your content is never used to train AI models.

Can I connect my calendar from Home?

Yes. On Home, click Connect my calendar in The week ahead, then pick Microsoft Outlook or Google. Your meetings then show on Home.

Can I use the agent from Slack, ChatGPT or Claude?

Troubleshooting

Problem	What to do
The app shows Connection expired, Connection lost or Missing permissions.	Click the app, then Reconnect [app]. For Missing permissions, click Manage [app].
The sign-in window doesn’t open.	Allow pop-ups for Workleap in your browser.
The connection fails after you sign in.	The tool’s admin may need to register the Workleap Agent first. See Register the Workleap Agent in another tool.
The page shows Personal integrations disabled.	Your organization doesn’t allow personal app connections. Ask an administrator.
Jira or Confluence isn’t in the list.	Connect Atlassian. One connection covers Jira, Confluence and Loom.
