Personal integrations: connect your apps to the Workleap Agent

What a personal integration is, how your data is handled, and what the agent can read in each app.

A personal integration connects one of your work apps to the Workleap Agent with your own account. Once connected, the agent can search that app when you ask a question.

How to connect

  1. Open Connected apps from your account settings. In the agent, you can also click Sources, then Connect more sources.

  2. Find the app and click Connect.

  3. Sign in to the app and allow access.

The agent can use the app from your next message. To stop, click Disconnect next to the app.

How your data is handled

  • Each person connects with their own account. The agent uses your connection for you and nobody else.

  • The agent sees only what your account can already open in that app.

  • Content is searched on demand, when you ask. Nothing is synced, copied, or indexed.

  • Answers and the excerpts behind them stay in your own conversations. Admins cannot read them.

  • No report, profile, or review about you reads your connected apps. When your manager uses the agent, it runs on your manager's own connections and sees only what their accounts can see.

  • Your content is never used to train AI models.

  • Disconnect any time. The stored sign-in is deleted.

For admins

  • Turn personal integrations on or off for the whole organization: open the agent settings, then Knowledge sources > Personal apps > Manage permission.

  • Add your own tools by registering a custom MCP server. It appears in everyone's Connected apps list under the name you give it, and each person connects with their own account. See Connect a custom MCP server.

  • Admins cannot see which apps a person connected, and cannot disconnect them.
